About Us
Jim Clark, owner of CLARK CONSTRUCTION has always been a hands on type of builder. His foundations can be traced back to age of 16 when he started his career as a mason working part time laying brick and block. Jim eventually worked and learned in all of the building trades, as Jim says “Back in my day we did it all, from the ground up”. At the age of 21 Jim founded Clark Construction and has now been serving the building industry for the past 55 years. Today Clark Construction employees a professional group of sub contractors to accomplish its projects, personally screened by Jim most of them have a tenure of 20 plus years with Clark Construction. Clark Construction is proud to be a family owned and operated business. Jim along with his superintendent and grandson Wesley Doss run the day to day onsite operations and Jim’s wife Fayne runs the office.
Today CLARK CONSTRUCTION’S main focus is building high end custom and spec homes. Jim’s philosophy is “To be honest to all customers and do the best for each one” His motto is” Building Texas Dreams one Home at a Time”
Jim is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, Texas Association of Builders and San Angelo Home Builders Association where he has served as President, and has been awarded Builder of The Year Twice. Clark Construction is also a member of the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.
Jim and Fayne have been married 57 years; have 3 children; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grand children. They attend Immanuel Baptist Church.
